"The refuge of the misanthrope" is the first opus of a series entitled "Chrysalis" devoted to withdrawal, to solitude in view of a forthcoming blossoming. This lyrical abstract painting, essentially blue, invites us to calm, to serenity, it is a foetus, a cocoon, the refuge of a soul in the making.
